Where It Began
With over 15 years of experience in the disability sector, Leslie well known as “Les” founded Finchcare with one mission—to provide compassionate support that genuinely changes lives. His Philosophy is simple:
People always come first.
Throughout his career, he has supported individuals and families with compassion, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to helping people live more independent and fulfilling lives.

When Others Stepped Back
During COVID, many people lost their regular support. While others saw uncertainty, Les saw people who still needed someone they could rely on.
He stepped in to support individuals who had been left without care, including participants whose needs were considered too complex by other providers.
Because no one deserves to be left behind.
Growing Through Trust
One client became two. Two became many.
Many of the individuals Les supported had previously been turned away. Instead of seeing obstacles, he saw people.
He worked alongside participants, families, healthcare professionals, and support coordinators to build trust and create support tailored to each individual’s unique goals.
